H.R. 6633, introduced in the House by Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), authorizes funding for E-Verify for five more years. After passing the House by an overwhelming bipartisan vote of 407 to 2, the bill moved to the Senate for final passage…

Which is where the pro-illegal immigration forces stopped it cold. Specifically, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) has blocked E-Verify and won't let it pass unless he is allowed to add hundreds of thousands of foreign workers to our struggling economy. If the hold is not released, or voted down by 61 senators, or if the House version of E-Verify isn't "hotlined" and passed on the Senate floor… E-Verify will DISAPPEAR.

Of course, leftist Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has ignored Sen. Menendez's action,s and would be more than happy to let E-Verify die in order to satisfy his pro-illegal alien supporters. We have to let Sen. Reid, and every other U.S. Senator, know immediately that the American people will not tolerate the Senate permitting E-Verify to die, especially after the House overwhelmingly passed a five year reauthorization of E-Verify with only two members voting against it.
