National Public Radio FIRED Juan Williams for Speaking the TRUTH -- Click Below to Tell Congress to DEFUND NPR:

ALERT: Do you get a little nervous when you get on an airplane, and see someone dressed in Muslim garb on the plane with you?
Do you get a little worried when you realize that this is a person who identifies himself first and foremost as a Muslim?
With the constant threat of radical Islamic terrorism in the world today -- especially since 9/11 -- isn't that normal behavior, for you to be at least a little worried and nervous? Does that make you an evil bigoted person?
YES IT DOES -- if you're the wacky liberals that run National Public Radio!
How do we know? Because NPR just FIRED news analyst Juan Williams for admitting he feels the same way as any average American would feel!
And guess what -- YOU and I pay for those left-wing-nuts!
AMERICANS ARE SICK OF GIVING THE LIBERALS AT NPR OUR TAX DOLLARS -- it's time to DEMAND that Congress finally DEFUND this far-left "news and entertainment" organization NOW!

So what exactly did Juan Williams say that got him FIRED from NPR? THIS:
"When I get on a plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they're identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous."
Williams also mentioned Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistani American who pled guilty to trying to detonate a bomb in Times Square, and remarked, "He said the war with Muslims, America's war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don't think there's any way to get away from these facts."
HE'S CORRECT. We can't get away from the fact that there are terrorists -- most of whom are radical Muslims -- who want to see us dead. And that fact alone can make anyone worried or nervous -- even someone who works at the far-left NPR. And Juan Williams simply expressed his opinion about how he felt -- a free speech right protected under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution...
And NPR fired him. No questions asked. No discussion necessary. No opportunity for dialogue. They just called him up and said, "Your FIRED!"
Now, any private business should have the right to fire its employees, right? But NPR isn't any private business -- they get taxpayer dollars in the MILLIONS every year!
That's right -- National Public Radio, and its many public broadcasting stations, have received literally HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in "public funding" for years. In other words: YOU are paying for LIBERAL talk radio and CENSORSHIP of free speech!
How liberal is NPR? How about this: they just received $1.8 million as a gift. Who did it come from? George Soros -- the man who helped launch MOVEON.ORG!
This is OUTRAGEOUS -- and it MUST BE STOPPED!

Just this year alone, Congress awarded over TEN MILLION DOLLARS to NPR and its public broadcasting stations.
But that's just the tip of the iceberg. In reality, these leftists and their buddies in Congress play a "shell game" with YOUR MONEY... one where they end up getting hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars every single year!
How do they do it? Watch the shells... Pay close attention...
- The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (which founded NPR and PBS) gets, say, $400 million from Congress;
- The CPB gives hundreds of millions of dollars to hundreds of PBS stations around the country, which carry all of NPR's programs;
- The PBS stations pay fees and dues directly to NPR to carry those programs;
- The fees and dues paid by member stations make up more than half of NPR's budget;
- NPR then turns around and grabs another $1-2 million directly from Congress.
Did you get that? NPR tries to claim that they only get "a little" direct federal funding -- but they get hundreds of millions in indirect federal funding! And to top it all off -- their top five on-air hosts all make around $300 thousand dollars per year!
That's OUR MONEY! And we -- along with hundreds of thousands of hard-working overtaxed patriotic Americans around the country -- are SICK AND TIRED of Congress giving away our money to fund liberal elitists who believe in censoring commonly-held opinions!
So, we've set up our website to enable you to send "Blast Faxes" to every single U.S. Senator and every single U.S. Representative ALL AT ONCE, at their home district offices while they're out of session, demanding that they DEFUND National Public Radio (and their shell-game front, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting) ONCE AND FOR ALL!
Congress is going to have one more "lame duck" session before the end of the year -- and they need to use that opportunity to put an end to the UNCONSTITUTIONAL funding of NPR and CPB!
For about what it would cost you in time and telephone charges, you can send Blast Faxes to Democrats, Republicans, Independents -- EVERYONE in Congress, at their home district offices, DEMANDING that they DEFUND NPR!

DON'T LET THESE LIBERAL HYPOCRITES GET AWAY WITH CENSORSHIP! Please, take action right away to DEMAND that Congress finally put an END to the unconstitutional waste of taxpayer dollars given to NPR!
P.S. There is (no surprise) a hypocritical difference in how NPR views disparaging remarks about conservatives. Last year, Sarah Spitz, a producer for National Public Radio affiliate KCRW, said that she would "Laugh loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out" if she saw Rush Limbaugh having a heart attack; Spitz was not fired. In 2001, NPR's Bill Moyers called conservative Americans "the right-wing Taliban" and conservative legislators "the ayatollahs in Congress"; Moyers was not fired. In 1995, NPR's Nina Totenberg commented that if there was "retributive justice," conservative former Sen. Jesse Helms would "get AIDS from a transfusion, or one of his grandchildren will get it"; Totenberg was not fired. Also in 1995, NPR commentator Andrei Codrescu declared about fundamentalist Christians, "The evaporation of 4 million who believe this crap would leave the world an instantly better place"; Codrescu was not fired.
The list goes on and on.
Others are starting to join us in calling on Congress to defund NPR, including Rep. Peter King (R-NY), former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, House GOP Leader John Boehner, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, former White House advisor Karl Rove...and even Juan Williams himself! To top it off, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) is planning to re-introduce his bill to defund NPR. NOW is the time to strike, while the iron is hot! Send your faxes right away to make sure these elected officials get the message, to DEFUND NPR -- Thank you!
