ALERT: Forces on the far Left are once again attempting to "suppress the vote" -- this time, the vote in the U.S. Senate to confirm Judge John Roberts to the Supreme Court.

First, the Left and their allies in the mainstream media are trying to "divide and conquer" conservatives, by planting "seeds of doubt" about whether Judge Roberts really DOES have a conservative judicial philosophy. Don't be fooled -- EVERYTHING we know about him (including from our inside sources) shows that Roberts would NOT let liberal judicial activism run amok on the Court any longer.

Since when do we believe ANYTHING that the liberals and the mainstream media (but I repeat myself) try to shove down our throats?

Second, they're spending MILLIONS on advertising against Judge Roberts that just plain LIES about him -- NARAL just had to withdraw one of their ads due to public outcry, that tried to paint him as supportive of terrorist bombers!

And third, they're trying to convince conservatives that Judge Roberts' confirmation is a "done deal," so we don't have to do anything to encourage Senators to vote for him -- or to counter the efforts on the Left to oppose him. That is NOT TRUE -- left-wing groups have had their members "working the Senators" to reject Roberts since the day President Bush nominated him, and right now we don't have anywhere NEAR a solid majority for confirmation.
